English Faculty

 

This position teaches English language skills through group work, role playing, projects, interviews and community visits as well as classroom instruction. Requires a Master’s in TEFL (or Bachelor’s with TEFL diploma), 3 years’ teaching experience that includes curriculum development, student assessment, computer-assisted learning and contemporary teaching methods.

 

 

Computer Literacy Faculty

 

The selected applicant will present introductory computing classes in keyboarding, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), the Internet and email using innovative e-learning technologies and methods. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computers (major or minor) or Education (with qualification to teach computer); Master’s degree preferred. Must have 3+ years’ experience computing in a secondary, tertiary or vo-ed environment and experience with ESL students. Experience teaching keyboarding is a plus.

 

Math Faculty

 

Duties include preparing ????? ????? and presenting basic math skills classes at a developmental level. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, 3+ years’ related teaching experience (basic and pre-Algebra), teaching qualification certification and the ability to use computer-aided learning tools.
