EDAG Australia today is the result of many years working in and contributing to the Australian Automotive industry. With 20 years operation in Australia and 35 years of automotive excellence in the European market via EDAG Germany, EDAG Australia has the skills and experience to exceed the expectations of quality, performance and value for money.

To effectively support the automotive manufacturers and their supply companies, EDAG Australia provides services in product development, CAD, CAE, prototype builds, vehicle development, studio, show cars, production equipment, special purpose equipment, gauging, fixtures and fittings, automation, project engineering and recently the development of Unique and Special Vehicles.

EDAG Australia has facilities in Dingley in Melbourne's South East and in Port Melbourne, these facilities include 3,500 square metres of floor area, secure CAD offices, studios, fabrication and milling areas, all protected by electronic swipe card security to maintain confidentiality and enable developments to progress without the risk of inadvertent exposure. In these facilities EDAG Australia can develop new products in total confidentiality from concept through to production.

Our computer capabilities include all top end 3D CAD packages (including Unigraphics, CATIA, C3P, Alias, ICEMSurf), CAD/CAM and CAE simulations and analysis.

EDAG Australia supports the automotive manufacturers and their component suppliers through the design and build of automated equipment, robot applications (without being tied to any one robot supplier), automated production lines and production gauging. Today, strong growth is also being achieved in industries such as aeronautical, marine, defence and hi-tech as the benefits are being recognised.

EDAG Australia, as a wholly owned subsidiary of EDAG Germany has access to the resources, products and skills of over 4,200 employees working globally with all leading automotive manufacturers.
